Love Sea Food Tastes Port Stephens 2019
The renowned Port Stephens events, Love Sea Food and Tastes of the Bay, have joined forces in 2019 to create one of the biggest events on the winter calendar in Port Stephens.Restaurants and Cafes have the opportunity to participate in the lunch and dinner specials promoted throughout the month as well as to host a Signature Event to drive business during the low season. CLICK HERE to register your interest.This year the event is being expanded and the program will be available from late May offering accommodation venues the opportunity to promote Love Sea Food Tastes Port Stephens to encourage bookings during August. A toolkit will be sent to industry in June for you to promote the event via your own channels.
IPART rejects Council’s rate increase application – Update from the Mayor of Port Stephens Council
Following the determination by the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) rejecting Port Stephens Council’s application for a Special Rate Variation (SRV) many projects will be on hold for some time. Council will continue to deliver their planned capital works projects as well as to seek additional sources of funding to deliver critical projects for Port Stephens. Murray’s Brewery secures seven awards at the 2019 Australian International Beer Awards
Congratulations to Murray’s Brewery for taking out two gold and five bronze awards at the 2019 Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA). AIBA is the largest annual beer competition in the world judging both draught and packaged beer and attracted more than 2,500 entries from 402 breweries.

Port Stephens Toyota Blue Water Country Music Festival this June Long Weekend, the 7th – 10th June.
Port Stephens will be the backdrop for Country Music enthusiasts with events running all weekend kicking off with the official launch party event on Friday June 7th at Nelson Bay Bowling Club.
The launch event will feature live entertainment from Mustang, award winning singer-songwriters Lee J Collier & Wendy Wood, young country music stars Brooke & Sam Thompson. With a range of free and ticketed events across 16 venues featuring national and local entertainers, a family fun day at Horizons Golf Club plus bush poetry and line dancing.
