Grant Charlesworth is the owner and founder of Travenue, an advisory service that has been established specifically to assist Tourism & Hospitality Businesses.

In the year 2000, Grant entered the family business, a fledgling day tour company in Sydney called Australian Wild Escapes, after a 9 year career in the media. Over the last 20 years, Grant has transformed the small, 3 star day tour business into a Luxury Travel Company operating throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Grant renamed the company to Australian Luxury Escapes in 2002, and started to slowly carve out the company’s niche, concentrating mainly in the high yielding North American market. Australian Luxury Escapes established offices in Cairns, Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide and Perth, offering tailored travel solutions for their 5 Star and High Net Worth clients throughout Australia and then New Zealand.

The company was successful in attracting high paying customers and creating experiences that were different to what most other companies were providing. Today Australian Luxury Escapes has an enviable reputation as one of Australia’s best Luxury tour companies.

Grant is a certified business advisor with The Australian Institute of Advisors and is currently the President of their Tourism Chapter in Australia.
