Recently, the Get Connected Team have received several complaints from tourism operators in relation to tax invoices requesting payment for product listings featured on www.newsouthwalestourism.com.
Please be advised that these websites have no affiliation with Destination NSW nor does their parent companies Accommodation Find Pty Ltd and Internet Find Pty Ltd.
Destination NSW is the NSW Government’s lead agency for the New South Wales tourism and major events sectors.
The website www.newsouthwalestourism.com is not part of the Destination NSW greater distribution network, nor are they a licensed distributor of the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse’s (ATDW) content.
The Destination NSW ‘Get Connected’ website and membership program is free for approved applicants. The authorised details are listed on several websites including www.visitnsw.com, www.sydney.com, www.australia.com and over 50 other websites managed by licensed National ATDW distributors.
As part of this service, ATDW distributors may send authorised communication to members throughout the year offering premium services at a fee. All premium services are optional and arrangements are between the operator and licensed distributor. To view a list of licensed ATDW distributors click here.
If you have received an invoice from this company, simply disregard it.
Destination NSW are working on a response to ensure this matter is brought to an end.
