New ‘sacred’ twilight market for Port Stephens
By the sea at Nelson Bay
4-8pm, Fridays November 6 and December 11, 2015
The Nelson Bay marina will radiate “all things beautiful” when a new colourful, twilight event – the Sacred Tree Market – unfolds on the foreshore from 4-8pm on Friday November 6 and also Friday December 11 for Christmas gifts and Friday, January 8 for the holiday crowds.
The Sacred Tree Markets showcase and celebrate holistic, artistic, eco and ethically sustainable products and services for locals and visitors.
Market owner, spiritual teacher, healer and ‘compassionate’ entrepreneur, Ganga Ma, is inviting local artisans and food providers to apply for stallholder space at the upcoming markets in Nelson Bay.
Boasting the motto, ‘Tread lightly on the earth’, the Sacred Tree Markets will bring together “outstanding artists, designers, growers, makers, healers and lovers of all things beautiful” to the d’Albora Marinas Nelson Bay and along the adjacent foreshore.
“We are really excited to bring an inspiring and lovingly curated event to Port Stephens,” Ms Ma said. “Each of the stallholders are gems, offering locally made or designed products of exceptional quality as well as fantastic, wholesome food, African drummers, Hindu ceremonies, readers, healers and kids activities. We cannot wait to channel our energy into this beautiful space. We really hope the community and visitors to Port Stephens enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed putting it together.”
Port Stephens will be a new venue for the Sacred Tree Markets, which are held monthly in Branxton in the Hunter Valley. Ganga Ma is hoping the event will become a permanent fixture on the Port Stephens calendar
“We are always looking for new stallholders that fit our genre of high quality, unique artists, designers, foodies, locally produced products and services so if you have a product which you believe meets this criteria we would love to hear from you,” Ms Ma said.
