Now in its 29th year, the NSW Tourism Awards acknowledge and celebrate tourism excellence. This program rewards businesses that demonstrate significant achievement throughout the year. With 27 submission categories available, the awards showcase a variety of tourism products and businesses delivering outstanding service to guests in NSW.
NSW Tourism are running a series of workshops and an online webinar presented by the Chair of Judges, or a tourism expert and past judge. These workshops will assist with hints and tips for preparing and writing your submission, an overview of awards categories and how to effectively answer questions on business and marketing plans. The online webinar is being held on the 8th May from 2.30 – 5pm. The workshop is being held on the 7th May from 10am – 2pm at Woody’s Cafe & Conference Centre, Thornton. Register here.
The NSW Tourism Awards’ criteria and categories are set by the Australian Tourism Industry Council (ATIC). Select NSW category winners may progress to the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards to be judged against finalists from each State and Territory. Nominations are open until 29th June 2018.
