DESTINATION NSW – NEW RESOURCES FOR TOURISM OPERATORS
Destination NSW has developed a new suite of resources as part of its NSW First industry development program to help travel and tourism operators navigate these unprecedented times. The resources provide business owners with advice about how to stay in touch with customers, maintaining relationships with media and distribution partners, and opportunities to develop new areas of business. The six new guides are:

AUSTRALIAN TOURISM EXPORT COUNCIL (ATEC) – ROAD TO RECOVERY TUTORIAL – 12 WEEK SERIES
ATEC have developed a FREE online resource, ‘Road to Recovery’ Tourism Tutorial Series, a 12-week program designed to provide industry with all the necessary tools to be ready to bounce back after the impacts of COVID-19. Road to Recovery tourism tutorial series overview:
Tutorials are provided complimentary of ATEC.
They are 45 minutes in duration and hosted every Thursday at 2pm.

LATEST GOVERNMENT UPDATES ON COVID-19
Over the last couple days the Federal Government has announced additional changes that affect our industry and more information on support available to businesses, employers and employees.
The NSW Government is waiving a range of licence and permit fees for businesses for 12 months. Read more.
NSW Government announces $440 million land tax relief package which will provide greater protection against evictions.
NSW small businesses struggling with the COVID-19 shutdown will receive grants of up to $10,000 under a new assistance scheme.
The Government has passed legislation for the $130 billion JobKeeper Payment to keep more Australians in jobs and support businesses affected by the Coronavirus. Read more.
