The sunshine lately sure makes things feel just that little bit brighter. We hope this incredible weather will continue through to the upcoming school holidays and October long weekend.
It is exciting news that the Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary will open to the public on 26 September and that we can offer our members the opportunity to attend a pre-opening site visit on 24 September. Please see below and note that registration is required to attend the site visit.
Please keep in touch with DPS and if we can assist in any way please reach out.
Take care.

HAVE YOUR SAY ABOUT THE FUTURE OF PORT STEPHENS
Help make Port Stephens a better place to live, work and shop and take part in the region’s biggest ever place census.
Take the survey to tell what you value about your town and how you would make it better. The first part of the survey asks you about your ideal neighbourhood, and the second part gets you to rate your neighbourhood which takes 5-7 minutes to complete.
The results from the survey will give Port Stephens Council a clear way to prioritise investments and make sure they are delivering works that align with what the community values. The survey is now live and closes on Sunday 4 October 2020. We would also be grateful if you could share this with your networks.
As an incentive, survey participants will also be in with the chance to win one of ten $100 vouchers!
